The Strategic Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 1, 2010 No. 922, determines the need to “optimize the management system for sustainable development of a “green” policy of a low-carbon economy in attracting investments, to solve environmental problems, to reduce the negative impact of anthropogenic load, to strengthen the responsibility of nature users for reduction of emissions into the environment, integrated waste processing”.
The irrational use of natural resources, environmental pollution and, as a consequence, deterioration of the environment quality and human health, caused, among other things, by the accelerated industrial and innovative development of our country, at the present stage require the use of more effective levers to reduce the anthropogenic load on the environment. Air pollution remains one of the leading environmental impact factors that have a negative impact on public health. The most negative impact on the atmosphere is made by road transport and the oil and gas sector.
The volumes of air pollution from motor transport are becoming more and more threatening, which is due to the rapid growth in the number of motor vehicles on the territory of the Republic. This problem is most relevant for large cities, where the contribution of vehicles to air pollution reaches 60% or more of the city’s gross emissions.
Therefore, the Ministry sets itself a medium-term goal – to create conditions for the formation of the principles of a “green” economy, primarily through public campaigns, training seminars for nature users on the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies, the application of energy efficiency and energy saving measures, the introduction of renewable energy sources. Our company deals with the most problematic issues in the field of ecology of Kazakhstan, namely, air pollution in large cities.
